BUILDING REGULATIONS AND OUR STAIRCASE MEASURING SERVICE

To eliminate any measuring errors and to make sure your staircase will work in the space provided we offer a UK wide surveying and fittng service.
We are quite happy to work from your measurments but if you feel you require a survey please feel free to contact us.
There is a charge for the surveys however to show our comintment to good practive we are prepared to refund 50% of the fee if a order is placed with us within 30 days after the survey is carried out.
If you choose however to buy your stair online please note some of the building regulations below.
BUILDING REGULATIONS FOR STAIRCASES
As we are often asked about staircase regulations, we thought it may be useful to inform our clients as to the regulations surrounding many aspects of home improvements as well as building regulations pertinent to staircases. Although we sell stairs of diameter 100cm on this site, that does not necessarily mean they comply with all regulations. We always suggest you contact your local council prior to any work. However below is part K of the building regs section BS5395
